About Us

Our Vision

Indian SEN aims to act as a beacon of light, as a leader of the global spiritual emergence movement, alleviating the suffering of those in spiritual emergence through providing support, education, research, public awareness, empowering collective wisdom and collaboration, whilst supporting the development of new members and encouraging interdisciplinary and intercultural dialogue.

Our Mission

To build a space where individuals undergoing deep inner transformation receive clarity, support, and responsible guidance—so their journey leads to stability, growth, and meaningful integration. By contributing to the evolution of the cartography of the human psyche, we envision a world where everyone embraces spiritual emergence, manifesting and living from a higher level of consciousness for future generations.

Our Approach

Not every intense inner experience is a disorder—and not every experience should be idealized

Indian SEN focuses on:

  • Differentiating spiritual emergence from mental health concerns
  • Providing grounded validation without exaggeration
  • Supporting integration into real life

Our Journey

Indian Spiritual Emergence Network (Indian SEN) was born from a direct and deeply transformative journey through spiritual emergence, including intense inner experiences associated with kundalini awakening.

During this phase, a clear gap became evident—many individuals undergoing such experiences often lack structured understanding and support. These experiences are frequently misunderstood within mental health frameworks or approached without grounding, leading to confusion and instability.

This led to a clear intention: To create a space where spiritual transformation is understood, supported, and responsibly integrated.

Indian SEN was initiated in 2023, bringing into the Indian context the framework developed through the Spiritual Emergence Network, and shaped through engagement with its global community.

Alongside this, Indian SEN carries a broader vision: To contribute towards an India that leads with clarity, consciousness, and spiritual depth, offering a grounded model of inner development to the world.

What We Do

Indian SEN is a non-profit network that supports individuals navigating intense spiritual experiences with:

  • Grounded guidance
  • Psychological clarity
  • Responsible support and referrals

We work at the intersection of spiritual experience and psychological understanding, ensuring individuals re;ceive clarity—not confusion.

Our Team

Founder – D.S. Chandra

D.S. Chandra is the founder of Indian SEN, working at the intersection of spiritual emergence, psychology, and human development.

His work is grounded in direct lived experience of spiritual emergence, ongoing disciplined practice, and a structured approach informed by psychology and training.

Credibility:

His approach is shaped by a direct spiritual emergence experience in 2020 in the USA, followed by a conscious return to India, where the deeper phase of transformation and integration unfolded.

This journey is further supported by:

  • Experience as a Spiritual Manager with AiR Institute of Realization
  • Ongoing MA in Psychology
  • Professional experience in Learning & Development (L&D)
  • Association with the Indian Society for Training and Development

It is further informed by the pioneering work of Stanislav Grof and Christina Grof, aligned with the framework of the Spiritual Emergence Network.

Practice & Integration

This work is sustained through continued personal practice, including kundalini-based practices, Kriya Yoga, Bhakti-oriented practices, chanting, and sun gazing—approached as tools for stability, grounding, and integration, not belief systems.

Collaborative Leadership Engagement

Indian SEN is connected with broader initiatives in conscious leadership and societal transformation. The founder is a member of the Self Actualized Leadership Network, contributing to projects such as Yug Parivarthan.

Note

Indian SEN is not a replacement for medical or psychiatric care.
It is a supportive and educational platform designed to help individuals better understand and integrate their experiences responsibly.
